Church has always had a passion for working in entertainment and kick-started his career in the music industry by initially producing bands in Los Angeles. Although Church continues to be involved in music, he is passionate about the paranormal, stemming from growing up with a family interested in discussing supernatural phenomena. Having studied ufology and paranormal conspiracy theories, Church has a keen interest in Erik Von Daniken and Edgar Cayce’s work and Fade to Black invites prominent thinkers in the field to join the debate on the unknown and unexplained.

  6. Xavier

Are psychedelics, in the regard to healing trauma, ayahuasca,

  7. Xavier

is this something that you have any interest in whatsoever?

  8. Jimmy Church

    I did it this morning.

  9. Xavier

    Shut up.

  10. Xavier

    No, you didn't.

  11. Xavier

    You did ayahuasca this morning.

  12. Jimmy Church

    Yes.

  13. Jimmy Church

EODMT right now. And he starts his panel. I'm walking out the door to come up and meet you.

  14. Jimmy Church

Just so you know. And George says, and by the way, I want to introduce everybody to somebody

  15. Jimmy Church

that sits in for me, that does the weekends, that he's been with us for years. And I just

  16. Jimmy Church

want to bring to the stage somebody that you all know, Jimmy Church. And I stopped, right?

  17. Jimmy Church

And I ran and I ran up to the stage and he goes, say something.

  18. Jimmy Church

And I said, George, I was leaving to get coffee.

  19. Jimmy Church

So at that time, Coast to Coast just started.

  20. Jimmy Church

And then I found out, and this is crazy, the studio was across the street from my condo.

  21. Xavier

    Wow.

  22. Jimmy Church

across the street in sherman oaks where i broadcast now same studio and i can look out

  23. Jimmy Church

the windows of coast to coast and look at my bedroom window and i'm like shut up who is this

  24. Jimmy Church

and jason goes no man that's george i know his voice and george hey jason how's it going

  25. Jimmy Church

    I said, really, Jimmy, I'm a fan.

  26. Jimmy Church

I go live with Coast to Coast in an hour, but I'm listening to you.

  27. Jimmy Church

    I was like, what?

  28. Jimmy Church

And so we have this thing, and I hang up, and the audience and Twitter and everybody's just like.

  29. Xavier

    Just blowing up.

  30. Xavier

    Right, right, right.

  31. Xavier

And I thought, how weird is that?

  32. Jimmy Church

At one point, I was like, I'm done with sports.

  33. Jimmy Church

I just want to get this UFO thing combined.

  34. Jimmy Church

mind so i convinced my producers and my team that we were going to change from sports to sports and

  35. Jimmy Church

ufos and they were like what how are we going to do that when you first walk into the hotel here

  36. Xavier / Jimmy Church

there's 15 000 people right it's madness every floor that you go to here you see a line of a

  37. Xavier

thousand people going in to see somebody speak it's everywhere you turn right um and when you

  38. Jimmy Church

walk in the door this electricity just comes up your legs and you feel this thing and that's the

  39. Jimmy Church

beauty of the conscious life expo and and there's nothing else like it in the united states maybe

  40. Jimmy Church

even the world it's it's that kind of place and i just enjoy it the suggestion of what is real and

  41. Jimmy Church

what is not and are we in some hologram holographic world yeah we are we exactly so therefore nothing

  42. Jimmy Church

is set you know free will is a real thing ones and zeros can be manipulated and if that is the case

  43. Jimmy Church

rewrite your own code you know figure things out and and you can do it and if you feel trapped or

  44. Jimmy Church

if you feel like you've got questions that aren't answered you can go and you can do these things

  45. Jimmy Church

in one show i can talk about heavy metal music one of my passions i can talk about funny comedies

  46. Jimmy Church

Time travel, UFOs, and Egypt, all in one show.

  47. Xavier

    Why?

  48. Xavier

Those are the things that I'm passionate about.

  49. Xavier

    What's up, folks?

  50. Xavier

  52. Xavier

We really hope you enjoy this episode.

  53. Xavier

fun episode to do. We did it live at the Conscious Life Expo. Jimmy has been hosting Fade to Black

  54. Xavier

and Coast to Coast AM for years. It's just a really engaging, enthralling conversation.

  57. Xavier

    Thank you so much.

  58. Xavier

You are listening to The Human Experience.

  59. Xavier

    My name is Xavier Katana.

  60. Xavier

I am sitting with the legendary Mr. Jimmy Church.

  61. Xavier

    Jimmy, how are you, sir?

  62. Xavier

    How is everybody?

  63. Jimmy Church

    How are you?

  64. Xavier

    I am doing wonderful, man.

  65. Xavier

We are at the Conscious Life Expo.

  66. Xavier

    How's that been for you?

  67. Xavier

Well, let me ask you this.

  68. Xavier

    It's great for me.

  69. Jimmy Church

    How's it been for you?

  70. Xavier

It's probably not as good as for you.

  71. Xavier

How many Conscious Life Expos have you been to?

  72. Xavier

This is the first Conscious Life.

  73. Xavier

Are you turning this interview into,

  74. Xavier

what are you doing to my interview?

  75. Xavier

    Exactly.

  76. Xavier

    This is the thing.

  77. Xavier

    Conscious Life Expo,

  78. Jimmy Church

this is the fifth year that I've hosted.

  79. Jimmy Church

    We've usually broadcast,

  80. Xavier

    you know, fade to black

  81. Jimmy Church

from the main Plaza Ballroom downstairs

  82. Xavier

    on Friday nights.

  83. Xavier

And this year is the first year

  84. Jimmy Church

    that we didn't do that.

  85. Jimmy Church

You know, bring in a portable studio,

  86. Jimmy Church

    the manpower, the producers,

  87. Jimmy Church

    the thing, three-hour live broadcast,

  88. Jimmy Church

guest, you know, craziness. This year, what the Expo wanted to do was have me still do the

  89. Xavier / Jimmy Church

keynote address on Friday night, but have that be an actual panel. So this is the first year I

  90. Jimmy Church

haven't had to stress out bringing down a radio studio, setting up in front of a thousand people

  91. Jimmy Church

and doing a live radio, which is fun. It's a lot of stress. So this year, last night,

  92. Jimmy Church

We had 1,200 people in the ballroom, standing room only, all awake, all here to learn, all wanting knowledge.

  93. Jimmy Church

Egos are checked at the door.

  94. Jimmy Church

    Audience is there to learn.

  95. Jimmy Church

And when they go into that room and they look around and the vibe of having 1,200 people with an awakened mind, the connections that happen there, the neurons, the electricity, right?

  96. Jimmy Church

    It's all, everybody is one.

  97. Jimmy Church

And then on the stage, they've got David Wilcock.

  98. Jimmy Church

    They've got Corey Goode.

  99. Jimmy Church

They've got Linda Moulton Howe, William Henry.

  100. Jimmy Church

    And wow.

  101. Jimmy Church

Wow. So the vibe that was in there last night for the opening night, it sets off the tone for the rest of the conference for everybody.

  102. Jimmy Church

So they walk out of there, you know, with some knowledge and they've hopefully learned something, maybe made friends, you know, relationships and things that that carries on through the rest of the conference all the way to next year.

  103. Jimmy Church

Absolutely. Because they want to come back and cop that same vibe.

  104. Xavier

Sure. Sure. For me, has it been great? It's been amazing, you know.

  105. Jimmy Church

And so this morning, I was just down with George and his panel.

  106. Xavier

    George Norrie.

  107. Jimmy Church

    George Norrie.

  108. Jimmy Church

And George and I, we were backstage, David Wilcox missing, right?

  109. Jimmy Church

Now, this is what's great for the audience.

  110. Xavier

This is, you know, it was awesome.

  111. Jimmy Church

So George and I are backstage.

  112. Jimmy Church

    We've got eight people there.

  113. Xavier

    We're supposed to have nine.

  114. Jimmy Church

    We're missing Wilcox.

  115. Jimmy Church

and George, being the professional that he is,

  116. Jimmy Church

him and I are just sitting to the back.

  117. Jimmy Church

Everybody's in front of it, and we're just talking.

  118. Xavier

And I had said to him, I said,

  119. Xavier

George, this is my fourth year going on,

  120. Xavier

fifth year doing Coast to Coast, right?

  121. Jimmy Church

And over all of these years,

  122. Xavier

I've never had the opportunity to say thank you.

  123. Xavier

So that's what I did backstage, right?

  124. Xavier

    Okay.

  125. Jimmy Church

That was a moment between George and I.

  126. Xavier

    The audience doesn't see that,

  127. Jimmy Church

    and they deserve that moment,

  128. Jimmy Church

see it. So anyway, this is part of conscious life. So George gets up and says, I'm done. I'm not part

  129. Jimmy Church

of his thing. I'm just there, you know, to, to be with my friend. And he starts his panel. I'm

  130. Xavier / Jimmy Church

walking out the door to come up and meet you. So, you know, and George says, and, and by the way,

  131. Jimmy Church

I want to introduce everybody to somebody that sits in for me, that, that does the weekends

  132. Jimmy Church

that he's been with us for years. And I just want to bring to the stage, somebody that you all know,

  133. Jimmy Church

me church. And I stopped and I ran and I ran up to the stage and he goes, say something. And,

  134. Jimmy Church

and I said, George, I was leaving to get coffee. So anyway, I said to the audience that I just

  135. Xavier

want to share something that, that just happened backstage. I don't get a chance to do this,

  136. Jimmy Church

but I've been on coast, you know, now all of this time and George and I work and we work together,

  137. Jimmy Church

into weeks turned into years and I never had the opportunity to say thank you and I just did that

  138. Jimmy Church

backstage and I want all of you to know that that's what's going on back there and and I want

  139. Jimmy Church / Xavier

to do it now up here George thank you because and the audience now gets that vibe right they

  140. Jimmy Church

they understand that this is a family this is not the celebrity or coast to coast or things

  141. Jimmy Church

    into something that it

  142. Jimmy Church

is not. We have a genuine relationship with the audience. Am I making sense? And they need to feel that. So they walk out of there with a personal thing that they can now take that with them forever and understand that. So is the conference going great? It's going great for everybody. And that's what I enjoy most. I really do.

  143. Jimmy Church

When you first walk into the hotel here, there's 15,000 people, right?

  144. Xavier

    It's madness.

  145. Jimmy Church

Every floor that you go to here, you see a line of 1,000 people going in to see somebody speak.

  146. Xavier

    It's everywhere you turn, right?

  147. Jimmy Church

And when you walk in the door, this electricity just comes up your legs, and you feel this thing, and that's the beauty of the Conscious Life Expo.

  148. Jimmy Church

And there's nothing else like it in the United States, maybe even the world.

  149. Jimmy Church

It's that kind of place, and I just enjoy it.

  150. Jimmy Church

So is it going great? How's it going for you?

  151. Xavier

Jimmy, it's going well, but I want to get into, you know, I've listened to your show a few times.

  152. Xavier

I know that you've at least heard of me, but I don't think you've listened to my show yet.

  153. Xavier

It's a little bit different. I mean, we have different topics.

  154. Xavier

But I want to know a little bit about what goes on behind the scenes.

  155. Xavier

Because for most people, I think what they see is this polished version of this collaborative effort between you and your staff.

  156. Xavier

And do it every single night.

  157. Xavier

And your Fadernauts and the people who love you,

  158. Xavier

I mean, there's so many of them.

  159. Xavier

    It's an army of them.

  160. Xavier

    Right.

  161. Xavier

So how long have you been doing this?

  162. Jimmy Church

Fade to black, five, going on six years.

  163. Xavier

And then you host Coast to Coast on the weekends.

  164. Xavier

    Yep.

  165. Xavier

And you mentioned the History Channel.

  166. Xavier

    Yep.

  167. Xavier

Three shows now, three series on history.

  168. Xavier

    I know, right?

  169. Jimmy Church

    It sounds crazy, doesn't it?

  170. Xavier

You're doing so much for you.

  171. Xavier

been a hurdle for you what has been something that you struggle have struggled with if anything

  172. Jimmy Church

well um okay the growth of the show i don't have to struggle with because it grows on its own that's

  173. Jimmy Church

organic the fader knots thank you for mentioning that because you're awake and you pay attention

  174. Xavier / Jimmy Church

the fader knots named themselves okay we didn't do that the things that have happened on the

  175. Jimmy Church

internet and everything. We've never advertised. We've never done any marketing. So I've never

  176. Jimmy Church

stressed with that. Everything is word of mouth. That's it. The fader knots speak about the show

  177. Jimmy Church

and the word on the streets. And yeah, is it the biggest show out there? It is. It wasn't at one

  178. Jimmy Church

time. It's that it has grown organically. So I don't stress over that. That's a beautiful thing.

  179. Jimmy Church

My stress comes from the proper research.

  180. Jimmy Church

So I have spent my entire life reading, watching, searching.

  181. Jimmy Church

    That's my thing.

  182. Xavier

    I do nothing but research.

  183. Jimmy Church

Now, with my schedule, with doing shows every single day of the week, whether it's TV or radio, how is that possible?

  184. Jimmy Church

I still have to do things like sleep.

  185. Jimmy Church

    Yeah, of course.

  186. Xavier

    Okay?

  187. Jimmy Church

and a life and everything else.

  188. Jimmy Church

So how do you make time for all of that?

  189. Xavier

    It's tough.

  190. Xavier

And then I need to satisfy the research.

  191. Jimmy Church

If I have five guests in a week or six,

  192. Xavier

so I'm working six days at six guests,

  193. Xavier

    that's six different topics.

  194. Xavier

That's six different books to read from these

  195. Jimmy Church

or six different documentaries to watch

  196. Jimmy Church

and six different topics to go in depth with

  197. Xavier

because I, and this is where you need to learn,

  198. Jimmy Church

right here. For everybody that's listening to me, I do not have questions. There are no questions.

  199. Jimmy Church

Whether it's on coast, whether it's TV, fade to black, there are no questions. I have nothing

  200. Jimmy Church

there in front of me because I know my guests. I know what's going on. I've already researched

  201. Jimmy Church

the topic probably for decades before, and then we're specifically at a guest. And by the time

  202. Jimmy Church

I get to that guest, I have fully done my work. The audience knows that. And that's why the

  203. Jimmy Church

audience has grown. They know that I'm never phoning it in. I'm never reading down a list

  204. Jimmy Church

of 20 questions that is supplied from the guests. The questions are organic and they feed off of

  205. Jimmy Church

the conversation as it goes through. And it's like the audience is engaging in that conversation

  206. Jimmy Church

with me sitting right there because they can, when you and I are sitting here talking,

  207. Xavier

the conversation is going to go where it's going to go. I don't pick out a piece of paper

  208. Xavier

and sit here and have a conversation with you and read questions off of that. That's not a

  209. Jimmy Church

conversation, right? Okay. The audience knows that. And that's where the fanatical thing comes

  210. Jimmy Church

from that you're talking about. They know. So my hope and my goal from always from the beginning

  211. Jimmy Church

was, and if there is stress involved in doing what I do,

  212. Jimmy Church

is that you need to be yourself.

  213. Xavier

    I, the audience knows,

  214. Jimmy Church

they've been listening to me now do,

  215. Jimmy Church

    you know, a thousand interviews,

  216. Jimmy Church

    two thousand interviews.

  217. Jimmy Church

    Of course.

  218. Jimmy Church

    They know my personality.

  219. Xavier

So they know who I am.

  220. Jimmy Church

    I'm not faking anything.

  221. Xavier

    You don't bullshit.

  222. Xavier

There is nothing, none of that is there.

  223. Jimmy Church

    I am in one show,

  224. Xavier

I can talk about heavy metal music,

  225. Jimmy Church

    one of my passions.

  226. Jimmy Church

I can talk about funny comedies, comedians, time travel, UFOs, and Egypt.

  227. Xavier

    All in one show.

  228. Jimmy Church

    Why?

  229. Jimmy Church

Those are the things that I'm passionate about.

  230. Jimmy Church

So when I speak about these things, I'm speaking about the stuff that I love.

  231. Xavier

And then what results from that is my audience is interested in the same exact things.

  232. Xavier

    Like, man, wow.

  233. Xavier

    I like Pantera.

  234. Jimmy Church

    And I like UFOs.

  235. Xavier

This guy is like me, right?

  236. Xavier

Do you understand what I'm saying?

  237. Jimmy Church

And so once you let loose of that freedom and let that hang out there, now I'm able to not worry about 20 questions.

  238. Jimmy Church

    I know my guest.

  239. Xavier

    I know the topics.

  240. Jimmy Church

This is what I'm passionate about.

  241. Jimmy Church

We got three hours of live radio in front of us.

  242. Jimmy Church

Let's rock and roll and have a conversation.

  243. Xavier

    If there's a secret, that's it.

  244. Xavier

No, I mean, I'm not looking for the secret.

  245. Jimmy Church

    But I'm not suggesting that.

  246. Jimmy Church

But what I'm saying is when you try to analyze, as I have, how did we get here?

  247. Jimmy Church

And with anybody that is passionate about what they do and they find their bliss and they're able to do amazing paintings or play amazing guitar or act in films or whatever it is, or write code and video, whatever it is, they found their bliss.

  248. Jimmy Church

and you will say to them, well, how'd you do it?

  249. Xavier

Well, man, the secret is I'm happy.

  250. Jimmy Church

I'm just doing what I want to do.

  251. Jimmy Church

And so the stress comes from being passionate about something.

  252. Xavier

Yeah, I respect that about you.

  253. Xavier

And I think as long as I've known about the Fade or Nots and Fade to Black,

  254. Xavier

I have respected the show and you for what you do.

  255. Xavier

    It's simply that.

  256. Xavier

And if you ask me the same question, there's no way I could do six nights a week of guests.

  257. Xavier

I mean, there are other aspects of things that we're running and we're pushing forward.

  258. Xavier

You know, I want to know, before you started doing Coast to Coast, did you always feel you had a sort of talent for radio?

  259. Xavier

I mean, you have a very radio voice.

  260. Xavier

And at what point did you move into doing Coast to Coast on the weekends?

  261. Jimmy Church

    Well, where do you live?

  262. Xavier

I live in San Diego, California.

  263. Xavier

    You live in San Diego.

  264. Jimmy Church

So, and down in San Diego, Extra Sports 690, big radio station.

  265. Jimmy Church

And back in the early 90s, I would, when I traveled to San Diego once a week, twice a week, I would listen to Extra Sports.

  266. Xavier

And it was a great radio station.

  267. Jimmy Church

And back then, in the early 90s, when I was doing this, I would listen and I knew I was going to do that.

  268. Jimmy Church

  269. Jimmy Church

So, at that time, Coast to Coast just started.

  270. Jimmy Church

And then I found out, and this is crazy,

  271. Jimmy Church

the studio was across the street from my condo.

  272. Xavier

    Wow.

  273. Xavier

Across the street in Sherman Oaks,

  274. Jimmy Church

where I broadcast now, same studio,

  275. Jimmy Church

and I can look out the windows of Coast to Coast

  276. Jimmy Church

and look at my bedroom window.

  277. Jimmy Church

    Now, how trippy is that?

  278. Xavier

    That's an interesting synchronicity.

  279. Xavier

    That's a pretty trippy, right?

  280. Xavier

    Yeah, sure.

  281. Jimmy Church

And my phone number in my condo was one digit off from the Coast to Coast number.

  282. Jimmy Church

And I would listen to Art Bell.

  283. Jimmy Church

    Okay, call in 818-501-399.

  284. Jimmy Church

I was like, well, I need to call in just to go, dude, look at my phone number.

  285. Jimmy Church

    It's one digit off.

  286. Jimmy Church

    I'm across the street.

  287. Jimmy Church

And I thought, well, that's kind of creepy.

  288. Jimmy Church

So maybe we're not going to do that.

  289. Jimmy Church

But I would listen to Coast and knew that I wanted to manifest my own reality.

  290. Jimmy Church

And that's always the way things happen.

  291. Xavier

    Okay?

  292. Xavier

    That's it.

  293. Jimmy Church

You want to change your reality?

  294. Jimmy Church

Think about what you want to do.

  295. Xavier

    Think about it.

  296. Jimmy Church

Think about it every single day.

  297. Xavier

    Practice.

  298. Xavier

    Rehearse in your mind.

  299. Jimmy Church

    Maybe it's painting.

  300. Xavier

    Maybe it's car mechanic.

  301. Xavier

    Whatever it is.

  302. Jimmy Church

But if you don't like what you're doing now, and you need to do that, you manifest your own reality.

  303. Jimmy Church

Now, I've told this story many times about this very subject, about how this happened.

  304. Jimmy Church

So, look, this voice I've had since

  305. Jimmy Church

I was two, so I didn't have to worry about that.

  306. Jimmy Church

I knew that I had this irritating thing that bothered people.

  307. Jimmy Church

    It's loud and things.

  308. Xavier

So I knew I had that.

  309. Jimmy Church

But I needed to get the professional side of it set up.

  310. Jimmy Church

So I went back to school.

  311. Jimmy Church

    Went to school for broadcast.

  312. Xavier

    Went to school for journalism.

  313. Jimmy Church

    I got through that.

  314. Xavier

Got into sportscasting and did that.

  315. Jimmy Church

And then at one point I was like, I'm done with sports.

  316. Jimmy Church

just want to get this ufo thing combined so i convinced my producers and my team that we were

  317. Jimmy Church

going to change from sports to sports and ufos and they were like what how are we going to do that

  318. Jimmy Church

and so we changed the name of the show the sports show was called the revolution

  319. Jimmy Church

and and that was a lot of fun and we changed the name we did all the production uh and the show

  320. Xavier

was called Jimmy Church Against the World.

  321. Jimmy Church

And it was my way of getting what I was passionate about,

  322. Jimmy Church

    conspiracy, enlightenment, awakeness, consciousness,

  323. Jimmy Church

    UFOs, lost history, Egypt.

  324. Jimmy Church

How do I get all of this and keep the team interested?

  325. Xavier

Okay, so we're still doing sports,

  326. Xavier

but we're going to do a little bit of the Great Pyramid of Giza.

  327. Xavier

    What?

  328. Xavier

How are we going to do that?

  329. Jimmy Church

So I convinced them somehow that I had a plan.

  330. Jimmy Church

we change the show we get everything ready we cut all the spots we do all the voiceover stuff i bring

  331. Jimmy Church

in the team we do we do this for a couple of weeks and we're all geared we're now gonna launch

  332. Jimmy Church

jimmy church against the world and at that point art bell quit when he quit yeah the opportunity

  333. Jimmy Church

came up for me to go to his network on dark matter radio and they literally said to me this was like

  334. Jimmy Church

    on a Sunday night.

  335. Xavier

    They were like, okay,

  336. Jimmy Church

can you be ready to go live on Thursday?

  337. Xavier

    I said, sure.

  338. Xavier

    Yeah, we can do that.

  339. Jimmy Church

    And my wife comes in

  340. Jimmy Church

    and she says, that's fine,

  341. Xavier

but we're not going to call it

  342. Xavier

    Jimmy Church Against the World.

  343. Xavier

I said, what do you mean?

  344. Xavier

She goes, that pretty much sucks.

  345. Xavier

    And I said, really?

  346. Xavier

We just did all this production

  347. Xavier

    and we're ready to go.

  348. Jimmy Church

She goes, no, we're going to call it

  349. Jimmy Church

black what and that was sunday night bringing all the voiceover guys all the production all the

  350. Jimmy Church

artists we come up with new logos get everything done boom boom and then we went on the air uh this

  351. Jimmy Church

is five six years ago with fade to black and and that's how it all happened it was just manifesting

  352. Jimmy Church

your own reality and then uh so coast to coast so this is what happened george nori i did know

  353. Xavier

is listening to Fade to Black.

  354. Jimmy Church

And he's listening to Fade to Black for his own reasons.

  355. Jimmy Church

But I'm on Art Bell's network.

  356. Jimmy Church

    That's certainly, you know, he's,

  357. Jimmy Church

George is interested in what's going on out there

  358. Jimmy Church

and the other radio host, I'm sure.

  359. Jimmy Church

And he starts listening to Fade to Black.

  360. Jimmy Church

And one night, I'm in the studio,

  361. Jimmy Church

    doing the broadcast,

  362. Xavier

and I have Jason Martell on from Ancient Aliens.

  363. Xavier

    Okay.

  364. Xavier

    Jason and I are friends,

  365. Jimmy Church

    and we're doing our thing.

  366. Jimmy Church

Earlier that evening, Jason and I decided not to take phone calls,

  367. Jimmy Church

that we were just going to have this fun, organic bro conversation.

  368. Xavier

    Okay.

  369. Jimmy Church

And about an hour in to the broadcast, about 8 o'clock,

  370. Jimmy Church

this 818 number that I was just talking about is coming in,

  371. Jimmy Church

and I'm hanging up on it, keeps calling back, hang up, hang up.

  372. Xavier

And after about 10 of these, I go, Jason, I've got somebody calling in.

  373. Jimmy Church

not to have calls, but I don't know what's going on. You want to take this call? He goes, yeah.

  374. Jimmy Church

I just punched it. Oh, you're live on Faded Block. Who's calling? Jimmy, this is George Norrie.

  375. Jimmy Church

And I'm like, shut up. Who is this? And Jason goes, no, man, that's George. I know his voice.

  376. Jimmy Church

And George, hey, Jason, how's it going? I said, really, Jimmy, I'm a fan. I go live with Coast

  377. Jimmy Church

to Coast in an hour, but I'm listening to you. I was like, what? And so we have this thing and I

  378. Jimmy Church

and Twitter and everybody's just like just blowing up right right right and I thought how weird is

  379. Jimmy Church

that and uh a couple of uh weeks later we were at contact in the desert George is there and I'm

  380. Xavier

there and and we're doing our thing and and he came up and and offered me the gig and said uh

  381. Jimmy Church

would you like to come over and fill in for me on coast and I said yeah I guess we could talk about

  382. Xavier

Let me check my schedule, man.

  383. Xavier

    I might be busy.

  384. Jimmy Church

    And that's how it happened.

  385. Jimmy Church

And there's no rhyme or reason for it.

  386. Jimmy Church

Again, it comes to manifesting your own reality and thinking about things.

  387. Jimmy Church

The honor of this, the privilege, the honor is there's only one Coast to Coast.

  388. Jimmy Church

    There's only one George Norrie.

  389. Jimmy Church

There's only four Fridays every month.

  390. Xavier / Jimmy Church

four Saturdays. That's it. That's it. And who fills in for George on Friday nights on planet

  391. Jimmy Church / Xavier

earth? And that's one guy, right? How, what an honor, right? What an honor. And so I, I will

  392. Jimmy Church

never let go of that. It is really the truth. It's a privilege. It's cool. And, uh, that and

  393. Jimmy Church

fade to black which airs before coast to coast all done by design you know i didn't want to

  394. Jimmy Church

overlap the coast audience and i didn't want to offend coast to coast yeah so uh all of this was

  395. Jimmy Church

uh planned and thought through and it and it and it works and it happened and i'm still there and

  396. Xavier

we're on the air and and life is good and so that that's it it's about when it comes to consciousness

  397. Jimmy Church

when it comes to the suggestion of what is real and what is not,

  398. Jimmy Church

and are we in some hologram, holographic world?

  399. Xavier

    Yeah, we are.

  400. Xavier

    Exactly.

  401. Jimmy Church

    So, therefore, nothing is set.

  402. Jimmy Church

You know, free will is a real thing.

  403. Jimmy Church

Ones and zeros can be manipulated.

  404. Xavier

And if that is the case, rewrite your own code.

  405. Xavier

    You know, figure things out.

  406. Xavier

    And you can do it.

  407. Jimmy Church

And if you feel trapped or if you feel like you've got questions that aren't answered, you can go and you can do these things.

  408. Xavier

    You can.

  409. Xavier

You know, it takes a little work.

  410. Xavier

    You got to sweat.

  411. Xavier

    You got to work.

  412. Xavier

    Yeah.

  413. Jimmy Church

You know, you got to be present.

  414. Xavier

You have to be willing to work hard.

  415. Jimmy Church

Put your foot on the gas pedal.

  416. Xavier

    Yeah, you have to.

  417. Xavier

    And that's it.

  418. Xavier

    That's it.

  419. Jimmy Church

And so that's how it all happened.

  420. Jimmy Church

And I'm walking around this conference and I'm sure you've seen the same thing.

  421. Jimmy Church

And, you know, there's probably a thousand fade to black shirts, right?

  422. Jimmy Church

    At this conference.

  423. Xavier

You're walking around, you know, you're looking at 15,000 people and you walk around and you're like, that guy's got my picture on his chest.

  424. Xavier

And then just look for a second, right?

  425. Xavier

And you look around and you think, how did we get here?

  426. Xavier

    And isn't it wonderful?

  427. Jimmy Church

And that they are so happy and that they are here.

  428. Jimmy Church

and this family and this thing.

  429. Xavier

And it's just, what a crazy ride.

  430. Jimmy Church

    It's so much fun.

  431. Jimmy Church

    And that's it.

  432. Jimmy Church

    That's my life.

  433. Xavier

    I love the story.

  434. Xavier

    I love the logistics.

  435. Xavier

I love that you are so incredible.

  436. Xavier

I don't think that you could pull off what you're doing

  437. Xavier

without being utterly passionate and devoted

  438. Xavier

    and completely committed.

  439. Xavier

Because, I mean, this is challenging.

  440. Xavier

I mean, just a weekly show for me and my staff is challenging.

  441. Xavier

So doing it every night live is just a different ballgame.

  442. Xavier

You're playing, you know, minor leagues versus major leagues.

  443. Xavier

So, you know, I wanted to ask you, sometimes I listen to your show and, you know, it's all about these different topics.

  444. Xavier

But I've never really heard you, that story that you talked about, you know, how you got the gig at Coast to Coast.

  445. Jimmy Church

That story happened live on the air.

  446. Jimmy Church

    Yeah, there you go.

  447. Jimmy Church

    You know what I mean?

  448. Jimmy Church

So I never really had to tell it.

  449. Xavier

The audience got to hear it.

  450. Jimmy Church

They heard George call in about a month after when George called in, and he made me that offer, which was out in the desert.

  451. Jimmy Church

Like two weeks after that, he called in, and I was like, man, really?

  452. Jimmy Church

    You know, okay.

  453. Jimmy Church

And I was thinking to myself, what is the audience thinking right now that is really going on?

  454. Xavier

And George calls in, and he says, Jimmy, I don't know if you told anybody, which I hadn't.

  455. Jimmy Church

I didn't go on the air and go, George offered me this coast-to-coast.

  456. Jimmy Church

at that point it was my agent that got involved and i'm just you know if this happens it happens

  457. Jimmy Church

if it doesn't it doesn't but you don't talk about it publicly so what does george do calls in so

  458. Jimmy Church

church what's your answer i offered you the host gig haven't heard back man i'm like you want to

  459. HXP Announcer

do this live on the air yeah i do you know and so this played out on the air yeah how cool is that

  460. Xavier

that's amazing yeah yeah yeah yeah okay so anyway so okay so yeah i i let you do that i let you take

  461. Xavier

But, Jimmy, I want to know, we all have, you know, doing this radio thing, we all have those moments where there's a guest that just something's not vibing right.

  462. Xavier

You know, and you don't have to drop names.

  463. Xavier

I wouldn't ask you to drop names.

  464. Xavier

I just want you to give a story of an experience that you had where it just wasn't working out.

  465. Xavier

And you're trying everything you can to get this guest back on track.

  466. Xavier

And for some reason, the conversation's falling flat.

  467. Xavier

    The fadernauts are going nuts.

  468. Xavier

    They're like,

  469. Xavier

Jimmy, what's going on? Why is this interview just going flat? And you're thinking the same thing.

  470. Xavier

    It's never happened.

  471. Xavier

I had a feeling you might say that.

  472. Jimmy Church

It's never happened. The only – probably there's one fade to black that went a little bit sideways, but it turned out to be okay once.

  473. Jimmy Church

And so it's not really even worth mentioning.

  474. Jimmy Church

Then there was one time on Coast, one guest, I'm not going to mention his name.

  475. Jimmy Church

He has not been back on Coast to Coast since, or Fade to Black, that tried to take things

  476. Jimmy Church

into a very loud, political, Obama-bashing, I think it was Obama.

  477. Jimmy Church

    I can't even remember.

  478. Jimmy Church

    It might have been Hillary.

  479. Jimmy Church

It might have been during the elections or the campaign a couple of years ago.

  480. Xavier

    Right.

  481. Jimmy Church

    And that was very regrettable.

  482. Jimmy Church

I almost hung up on the guests and said, oh, he's had phone problems.

  483. Jimmy Church

    We'll get back to him.

  484. Jimmy Church

Let's open up the phone lines.

  485. Jimmy Church

    That happened once, but no.

  486. Jimmy Church

    So the answer is no.

  487. Jimmy Church

    Wow.

  488. Xavier

So you have to, first off, I know my guests.

  489. Xavier

    We're booking.

  490. Jimmy Church

    The guests are passionate.

  491. Xavier

    They want to be on.

  492. Jimmy Church

We are lucky that we have enough credibility out there that we can offer only, we have the opportunity to offer the best and the brightest.

  493. Xavier

    That's it.

  494. Jimmy Church

So usually what we bring forward is something that is pretty dynamic, whatever it is.

  495. Xavier

But, now this is the catch, and it's pretty amazing.

  496. Xavier

We have had a lot of first-time guests on the show.

  497. Jimmy Church

guest on the show it was their first radio appearance see you're segueing for me now

  498. Xavier

right and that was that was that was my next question for you is is you know research okay

  499. Xavier

yeah the research aspect of it is researching guests oh okay yeah that's researching guests

  500. Jimmy Church

trying to find the next gem the next thing why i i had to go back to my own radio experience

  501. Jimmy Church

So when I would listen to, it doesn't matter if I was listening to Coast to Coast or if I was listening to sports radio or political or whatever I was listening.

  502. Xavier

I want to listen to somebody I haven't heard from before.

  503. Jimmy Church

You know, I'll still listen if it's Will Smith for the 50th time.

  504. Jimmy Church

But to have somebody that I've never heard before, that really catches my attention.

  505. Jimmy Church

So that's what I want to do with the audience.

  506. Xavier

I want to find somebody that the audience has never heard from before.

  507. Jimmy Church

    Why?

  508. Jimmy Church

they get to share in my experience of that conversation because this is the first conversation

  509. Jimmy Church

I've had with this guest. This is the first time this guest is presenting this information.

  510. Jimmy Church

Everything is fresh and new and they get to have that experience. That's a tough road. It's a tough

  511. Jimmy Church

road to find and constantly look and look and look and look and look. I can only have Linda

  512. Jimmy Church

Moulton Howell on this show so much. I would love to have her five days a week, but you can't do

  513. Jimmy Church

    Or Richard Dolan.

  514. Jimmy Church

    Or Stephen Greer.

  515. Jimmy Church

    Or David Wilcock.

  516. Jimmy Church

    Or Corey Goode.

  517. Jimmy Church

    Or William Henry.

  518. Jimmy Church

On and on and on and on.

  519. Jimmy Church

    These people that...

  520. Xavier

John Anthony West, who just passed away a few days ago.

  521. Jimmy Church

    I had these people on.

  522. Jimmy Church

    Robert Shock.

  523. Jimmy Church

I would love to have them on all the time.

  524. Jimmy Church

    I can't.

  525. Jimmy Church

And also, as much as that is really cool, and the audience enjoys that, and they do.

  526. Jimmy Church

    They do.

  527. Jimmy Church

I think they get much more enjoyment from somebody that they've never heard from before.

  528. Jimmy Church

Some fresh idea, some fresh take on the near-death experience, on consciousness, on parallel worlds, on time travel, on UFOs, on Egypt.

  529. Xavier

So, okay, I'm going to spin this around just a little bit just because I love hearing this.

  530. Xavier

I love hearing just the backstory and the way your mind is thinking as you're conducting these shows.

  531. Xavier

I'm going to invoice you later, though, for this.

  532. Xavier

what's gonna happen is i want to ask you about do you remember this lady named nancy leader

  533. Xavier

she's still around l-e-i-d-e-r yeah yeah yeah okay so zeta zeta zeta talk uh zeta talk yes zeta talk

  534. Xavier

do you remember she was i don't remember what year it was it was like 2006 2004 something like that

  535. Xavier

it's been a while and she faded away it's no pun intended but i was wondering for a person like her

  536. Xavier

She's pitching this end of the world scenario saying, you know, this planet X is coming and then nothing happens.

  537. Xavier

Do you filter out who you bring on in regards to that or do you allow your audience to do that themselves?

  538. Jimmy Church

No, I don't do anything like that on the show.

  539. Jimmy Church

It's a very, very dangerous zone to get into.

  540. Jimmy Church

and the reason why I used to listen to her stuff

  541. Jimmy Church

    and others like her.

  542. Jimmy Church

But if you are going to predict something like that,

  543. Jimmy Church

    it better happen.

  544. Xavier

    It had better happen.

  545. Jimmy Church

And if it doesn't, Marshall Masters and so forth,

  546. Xavier

if it does not happen, the hopes...

  547. Xavier

    That's your reputation is gone.

  548. Jimmy Church

    You're messing with people's emotions.

  549. Jimmy Church

    Yeah.

  550. Jimmy Church

And also there's a certain amount of fear mongering going into this.

  551. Jimmy Church

I don't want to play into that.

  552. Jimmy Church

And also, as a host and my audience, I do my research.

  553. Jimmy Church

And if you go and you look at these timelines with the Sumerian text

  554. Jimmy Church

and certainly the way that Sitchin presented the information,

  555. Jimmy Church

Nibiru, on its best hope, is still 1,500 years out.

  556. Jimmy Church

    Sure.

  557. Xavier

    Okay?

  558. Xavier

    It's not next week.

  559. Xavier

    It's not next month.

  560. Jimmy Church

not 2012 yeah you know it's not it's not it's not any of these dates it's 1500 years away if we go

  561. Jimmy Church

back and look this is why i i cannot bring on somebody to to talk about planet x i i just won't

  562. Jimmy Church

do it unless they tell me it's 2000 years away then we have a conversation come on let's talk

  563. Jimmy Church

about it because if we look at all of the historical timelines where significant things

  564. Jimmy Church

    at these 3,600-year cycles.

  565. Xavier

    You can find them.

  566. Jimmy Church

You can look at the year zero with the Star of Bethlehem.

  567. Jimmy Church

    Was that Nibiru, right?

  568. Xavier

    It was 2,000 years ago.

  569. Jimmy Church

So that puts right there, that puts Nibiru 1,600 years out.

  570. Jimmy Church

And then you can back up and look at certain celestial events.

  571. Jimmy Church

You can look at the Roman calendar, the Greek calendar,

  572. Jimmy Church

    Egyptian calendar, Chinese,

  573. Xavier

and look at these celestial events and significant things.

  574. Jimmy Church

    these 3,600-year loops.

  575. Jimmy Church

And it looks kind of interesting, right?

  576. Jimmy Church

But they stop at a certain point,

  577. Jimmy Church

which puts Nibiru 1,600, 1,500 years out,

  578. Jimmy Church

    no matter what.

  579. Xavier

So my research says that somebody

  580. Jimmy Church

    that wants to present Nibiru

  581. Jimmy Church

as entering our solar system right now

  582. Jimmy Church

    is trying to sell books.

  583. Xavier

    And I'm not into that.

  584. Jimmy Church

    There are too many,

  585. Jimmy Church

with it, every single asteroid, just about every single meteor, every single near earth orbit,

  586. Jimmy Church

everything that has been found pretty small, smaller than a Nibiru has been found by an

  587. Jimmy Church

amateur astronomer in his backyard with his own telescope. Right. They would have seen Nibiru

  588. Jimmy Church

for sure. A long time ago, a hundred percent. And it would be over with. Yeah. So my own research

  589. Jimmy Church

says I'm not going there. So that's it. I won't do it on the show. I will not. I will not. I'm

  590. Jimmy Church

not going to be a false prophet. I'm not going to be part of it. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. And

  591. Jimmy Church

you know, it comes down to this world that we're in. Credibility and integrity should be paramount.

  592. Jimmy Church

And so for me, that's it. And that's where I... I love that, man. I love authenticity. I love that

  593. Xavier

You are just so committed. And I think it's a responsibility. You feel a connection to your

  594. Xavier

audience and people look up to you. They respect your judgment and you're bringing this person on.

  595. Xavier

So I can see why the research of that, you know, the guests that you bring on would be so important

  596. Xavier

and why doing that five, six days a week is just absolute madness. Right. Is there a topic that,

  597. Xavier

I mean, I know there's a bunch of topics that you really like. Is there a favorite of yours

  598. Xavier

genre that you are drawn to more well aside from ufos and the alien question my passion

  599. Xavier / Jimmy Church

is is egypt and lost history which is one of the same thing so that's going back to of course

  600. Jimmy Church

gobekli tepi which you know is is something that i'm very very passionate about and i think there's

  601. Jimmy Church

a connection there but yeah it's egypt and when you go back uh before the pharaohs and you go

  602. Jimmy Church

before that you go before mene and you go before narmer and you go to the gods of egypt and the

  603. Jimmy Church

demigods um and what was going on there that is oh it's it's just the most fascinating thing out

  604. Jimmy Church

there absolutely you know down you know then there's time travel and then there's you know

  605. Jimmy Church

and quantum theory and the physics of that

  606. Jimmy Church

and parallel worlds and multi-world theory, multiverse.

  607. Jimmy Church

    Yeah,

  608. Xavier

    very, very passionate.

  609. Xavier

Yeah, yeah. And secretly, sort of, I just love hearing about that. And you probably had Richard Hoagland on your show a couple times.

  610. Xavier

    Once.

  611. Xavier

Once. I don't know how you feel about him. I don't know why, but I listen to his show every week.

  612. Xavier

    He's still on the air?

  613. Xavier

he has his own little show on blog talk radio now and i feel bad for the guy because he has

  614. Xavier

probably every technical issue ever ever conceived of that you could ever ever think of he has that

  615. Xavier

issue and i've tried to help him i've tried to send him a couple facebook messages and stuff

  616. Xavier

like that and it's it says that he read them and i'm just like this is what you need to do to fix

  617. Xavier

your thing man and and it just doesn't get fixed so but for some reason his ability to talk about

  618. Xavier

These things that we're seeing in our solar system, this architecture of these pre-civilization, 10,000, 20,000 years, who knows how old these civilizations are, all scattered through the solar system.

  619. Xavier

    It fascinates me.

  620. Xavier

And, I mean, we've had Graham Hancock on.

  621. Xavier

    Have you had Graham?

  622. Xavier

    Have you talked to Graham?

  623. Xavier

    Many, many, many times.

  624. Xavier

He's one of my favorite people to listen to because he connects so many of the different veins of subjects that I'm really into.

  625. Xavier

Our psychedelics, in regard to healing trauma, ayahuasca.

  626. Xavier

Is this something that you have any interest in whatsoever?

  627. Jimmy Church

    I did it this morning.

  628. HXP Announcer

    Shut up.

  629. Xavier

    No, you didn't.

  630. Xavier

    You did ayahuasca this morning.

  631. Xavier

    Yes.

  632. Xavier / Jimmy Church

I've got some 5-MeO DMT right now.

  633. Xavier

So I'm, ladies and gentlemen, I'm looking at,

  634. Xavier

I'm looking at the center of Jimmy's forehead.

  635. Xavier

    And I don't think he's lying.

  636. Xavier

    I really don't.

  637. Xavier

    I just, I don't, I don't know.

  638. Xavier

    I don't know.

  639. Xavier

But Jimmy, really, I mean, really be honest here, man.

  640. Xavier

    Cause, cause, you know.

  641. Jimmy Church

I'll tell you something really funny.

  642. Jimmy Church

Let me, let me, let me, let me do this.

  643. Xavier

    here and then we'll

  644. Xavier

end on this story. I'm going to tell a little story.

  645. Xavier

    So

  646. Xavier

    about

  647. Xavier

    six months ago,

  648. Jimmy Church

    I'm at a private

  649. Jimmy Church

    party

  650. Jimmy Church

    on the top

  651. Jimmy Church

    of a mountain in

  652. Jimmy Church

    Malibu. So

  653. Jimmy Church

    use your imagination.

  654. Xavier

    Okay?

  655. Xavier

    Pretty

  656. Xavier

    amazing.

  657. Xavier

And the people there and who the

  658. Jimmy Church

    are. Okay, we're talking about

  659. Jimmy Church

    top shelf of society.

  660. Xavier

    And so we're up there.

  661. Xavier

    And

  662. Jimmy Church

    this person comes up,

  663. Jimmy Church

I'm not going to say male, female,

  664. Xavier

    who, what, but says,

  665. Jimmy Church

    I'm a shaman

  666. Xavier

    and

  667. Xavier

    we are going to have

  668. Xavier

    a private gathering,

  669. Xavier

    invitation only, in two weeks

  670. Xavier

    at our compound.

  671. Xavier

We would like to invite you.

  672. Xavier

    Okay.

  673. Xavier

    We'll be there.

  674. Xavier / Jimmy Church

So we drive back two weeks later to the same neighborhood, same general area,

  675. Xavier

    and we enter the compound.

  676. Jimmy Church

We're driving up and around a two-mile driveway,

  677. Jimmy Church

and we wind around to this beautiful home,

  678. Jimmy Church

a couple of Ferraris, a couple of Aston Martins, a couple of Bentleys,

  679. Jimmy Church

couple of this, couple of that, couple of that.

  680. Jimmy Church

And, you know, I pull in my 72 Datsun B210 pickup truck.

  681. Xavier

    No, I'm kidding.

  682. Jimmy Church

But anyway, so we pull in.

  683. Xavier

    And it is all that.

  684. Xavier

And what is going on here?

  685. Jimmy Church

It's a room, not one, but it's a room full of shamans, a room.

  686. Jimmy Church

very famous director and some other you know and i'm looking around i'm like wow

  687. Jimmy Church

and things were going on there were i you know without going into details

  688. Jimmy Church

there were certain ancient medicines that were being talked about and distributed so i'm i'm

  689. Jimmy Church / Xavier

watching this and somebody comes up to me and does this okay this is from you know this is made by

  690. Jimmy Church

old women in you know mountains in tibet at a monastery and goes boop a drop on my head

  691. Xavier

    on my pineal gland.

  692. Jimmy Church

    And this thing,

  693. Jimmy Church

    so this drop

  694. Jimmy Church

    and this smell,

  695. Jimmy Church

    this weird thing,

  696. Xavier

and I could feel the heat and the oil

  697. Jimmy Church

and I could feel it like going down my scalp.

  698. Jimmy Church

    Okay.

  699. Jimmy Church

    All right.

  700. Jimmy Church

And I didn't even ask any questions.

  701. Jimmy Church

    I just, you know,

  702. Jimmy Church

    let's let this happen.

  703. Jimmy Church

    Okay.

  704. Jimmy Church

    All right.

  705. Xavier

    What?

  706. Xavier

So about a half hour later,

  707. Jimmy Church

    we're standing in the man.

  708. Xavier

    I don't care.

  709. Jimmy Church

    Here we go.

  710. Jimmy Church

We're standing in this circle in the dining room.

  711. Jimmy Church

And this director is talking about this project and the,

  712. Jimmy Church

and the gathering of everybody and,

  713. Jimmy Church

    and the blessing of the,

  714. Jimmy Church

    you know,

  715. Xavier

    the kombucha and whatever.

  716. Jimmy Church

And I'm standing there and suddenly his mouth,

  717. Xavier

    which is,

  718. Jimmy Church

And I can see him talking, but I just lose him.

  719. Jimmy Church

And I'm looking around the room, and I'm like,

  720. Xavier

why isn't anybody looking at these amazing-ass colors?

  721. Xavier

    This place is gray.

  722. Jimmy Church

And I'm looking around, and everybody, and I'm like, wow.

  723. HXP Announcer

    What was he saying?

  724. Jimmy Church

And then I thought to myself, that drop.

  725. Xavier

It was that drop that went on my head, not on my tongue, not in my vein.

  726. Xavier

    I didn't smoke it.

  727. Xavier

    I didn't snort it.

  728. Jimmy Church

    I didn't eye drop.

  729. Xavier

    It went, right?

  730. Xavier

    What is going on?

  731. Jimmy Church

And it allowed me at that moment to realize that everybody here got the drop.

  732. Xavier

I know that they did now.

  733. Xavier

And this is what, it was fantastic.

  734. Xavier

    It was fantastic.

  735. Xavier

    It was unbelievable.

  736. Jimmy Church

And we drove away that night.

  737. Jimmy Church

My wife and I were driving out.

  738. Jimmy Church

    She got the drop too.

  739. Xavier

    And we just thought, what?

  740. Xavier

    That was nuts.

  741. Xavier

    The group, the people.

  742. Jimmy Church

I can't really, if I told you some of these personalities that were there,

  743. Jimmy Church

I'm not talking about movie stars.

  744. Jimmy Church

    That was going on too.

  745. Jimmy Church

But different segments of society that are actually open to this.

  746. Jimmy Church

You know, there are politicians right now in Washington, D.C. that know what a 5-MEO is, man.

  747. Xavier

    I'm serious.

  748. Xavier

    Because I saw it.

  749. Xavier

And I was flipping out, man.

  750. Xavier

    It was a great experience.

  751. Jimmy Church

    So with that, man, wonderful.

  752. Jimmy Church

    Just thank you.

  753. Xavier

    No, no, no.

  754. Xavier
