Nandhiji is a mystic, yogi, visionary, humanitarian, artist, author and teacher.
Mastery of consciousness is nandhiji’s book in which he shares the rare teachings of the seldom-revealed source of yogic wisdom of the Siddha Sages, the liberated mystics of South India.
Nandhiji is also the founder of a number of important movements. The Declaration of Consciousness Movement, aimed at empowering humanity. World Yogi Day focusses on self-empowerment, and the Ariven Community, which focuses ways to create self-sustaining farming sanctuaries.

Nandhiji shares the rare wisdom and teachings of the seldom-revealed source of yogic wisdom of the Siddha Sages, the liberated mystics of South India. Nandhiji was gifted with a childhood experience of the Divine when he was four years old. Later as a young adult, while leading an active life of family, he was initiated through a death experience by his first Guru, and his journey into the mystical realm of the Siddhars as a yogi began. After years of seeking “wholeness” through connection with the inner world, Nandhiji woke up to understand his highest purpose: to uplift humanity in consciousness. Nandhiji’s experiences ranged during these times from firm yogic resolve in undertaking pilgrimages to sacred temples and hidden sanctuaries across India, to epic adventures in the spiritual wilderness of South India, to sojourns in forest shrines and caves—all under the guidance his Gurus, and through yoga, worship, meditation and solitude, to attain the wholeness to know his purpose and serve in the doings.

The deeply spiritual, mystical wisdom of the Siddhars are for the first time being revealed in this book by Nandhiji. This book “Mastery of Consciousness: Awaken the Inner Prophet” is the fruit of Nandhiji’s yogic journey after being initiated by the enlightened yogis, the Siddha Sages.

Nandhiji has condensed the esoteric wisdom of the Siddhars, in ways that Westerners can relate to in practical terms. Nandhiji’s desire is that those who seek the Mastery of Consciousness in their lives will be able to easily incorporate this wisdom into daily yoga or spiritual practices. The core intent of this book is to assist readers in cultivating an intimate connection to the Source of life that is eternal, all-knowing and very much alive in every cell of the body, thereby taking steps to attaining a life of freedom, purpose, inspiration, health and inner wisdom.

The teachings and wisdom of Mastery of Consciousness are tools that anyone living in the society can use to break free of the limits of the mind, body, and circumstances. To master Consciousness is to master Life. To Awaken the Inner Prophet is to be able to wake up to the Guru, or Divine teacher, that exists within each of us as higher consciousness.
From the first page to the last, this Book will hold the reader in awe with each page containing the vast arrays of condensed wisdom of the Siddhars. Nandhiji shares the rare wisdom and teachings of the seldom revealed source of yogic wisdom of the Siddha Sages, the liberated mystics of South India. This Book Mastery of Consciousness is teachings by way of autobiography, the 108 Consciousness Sutras, the articles and the interview with Nandhiji.
Nandhiji’s teachings of Mastery of Consciousness is from the “other India”, the source of yogic wisdom that has been secretive and passed on within a close circle of initiates.
The 108 Consciousness Sutras are yogic techniques to attain the higher conscious states of the yogic mind, “Turiya”. All Masters who furthered the frontiers of humanity were operating from the states of Turiya, the higher conscious mind. With the attainment of Turiya, we awaken to be the Master of our life and destiny.
The Book contains over 120 pictures of the mystical experiences of the yoga journey to illustrate the yogic wisdom of the Sages.
Each of the articles throwing insights into the deeper meaning of yoga, meditation, thought and consciousness are precious nuggets of wisdom that is life altering.
Nandhiji has condensed the esoteric wisdom of the Siddhars into several programs that Westerners can relate to in practicality. These teachings of heart wisdom can be easily incorporated into our daily yoga and/or spiritual practice, with the core intent being to attain a life of freedom, purpose, inspiration, health and inner wisdom for practical living.

Quotes

Five substantial excerpts from the published transcript, lightly edited for clarity without changing their meaning.

  1. As awareness rises above the navel, we begin to understand that we are the guru. The guru is our own higher mind; consciousness itself is the guru. When awareness reaches the heart chakra, we realize that everything is one and that we are infinite beings having a three-dimensional experience.
    From the conversation
  2. Those of us who are waking up are helping to birth consciousness and an age of truth. That age of truth exists within each of us. The moment we make it our own reality, it can become part of humanity’s reality. We are the ones who light consciousness within ourselves and allow it to flow.
    From the conversation
  3. Every day is a birthday; every day we are born again. Spirit gives birth to a fresh mind through which we can experience reality. Each day, we have the opportunity to meet life with a beautiful mind and enjoy the crisp reality that unfolds before us.
    From the conversation
  4. At the highest vibration, when we are love, we do not seek completion outside ourselves. This love completes us from a cosmic perspective and from the perspective of expanded consciousness. It is unconditional, aligned with the highest wisdom and with divinity, and it blossoms within our own lives.
    From the conversation
  5. The mind must learn to focus and merge into single-pointed awareness. This may be the most important teaching: develop a mind that is steady and focused, and grow comfortable at the zero point. Once the mind is trained in this way, intention becomes clear when we perceive what is needed in human reality.
