Quotes

Five substantial excerpts from the published transcript, lightly edited for clarity without changing their meaning.

  1. You can be the portal. I moved into the next stage of creating what I wanted to see come from spiritual reality into physical reality. The foundation laid early in my development encouraged me to seek that knowledge and inner understanding. We live life forward, but we understand it backward.
    From the conversation
  2. Productivity tools such as Asana can connect people at a massive scale and coordinate major projects capable of producing meaningful change. We have given ourselves a short period of time, so we are making ourselves available and using the tools we have to move life on Earth toward a more harmonious and balanced experience.
    From the conversation
  3. There is the brain, and there is the heart. If you perceive something through the brain, it still has to reach the heart before you fully understand what is being said or read. If it never gets that far and simply comes back out of your mouth, the result can be disastrous. Many people try to process consciousness only through the brain.
    From the conversation
  4. The world feels frenzied, and I have never seen it quite like this. It is an extraordinarily interesting time because many independent groups—not directly connected to government—are trying at least to stabilize their own reality. They may not use the language of consciousness, but they are still responding to the instability around them.
    From the conversation
  5. Consciousness has an analytical side and an intuitive side. When they fail to complement one another, like masculine and feminine forces in conflict, they go to war. The Mahabharata can be read as describing wars that occur within the mind, rather than merely battles among external deities.
